About LaToya

LaToyaWrites is exactly that. My name is LaToya, and I write. Thus far in my career, I have travailed in newsrooms giving birth to stories on deadline; donned business casual attire and some heels to till corporate cubicle farms; and molded the spongey minds of 26 fourth graders. In the midst of all that vocational variety, I found time to freelance my services to small businesses.

And like most writers who have not yet gone into full-time writing, I have pet projects that I have been nurturing and caring for, but have not completed–a non-fiction book and a full-length screenplay. I think they are about ready to leave the nest.

All in all, I am a lover of words who wants to share mine and hear about yours.
